Description
2024 Tasting Note: the earliest Liao Fu San Cha (loose tea) can be traced back to the 60’s. Made of large-leaf (da yeh) arbor tea trees from the region bordering northern Vietnam and China. Our batch was acquired in 2007 in Taiwan and has been stored in Huston since. It has a surprising roundness and copious amount of spicy herbs, warm honey, sweet fruit and earth aromas and flavors. Lots of juice! It is honestly a good approximation of the very aged pu-erhs, minus the depth, spicy “camphor-like” woodiness, and of course the $$$$$! Highly recommended!
