Description
This picture below shows the legendary “Blue-Black Inner Ticket” version of the 1999 Green Big Tree Puerh. Printed on incredibly thick cotton paper, it always reminds me of a joke from back then: “It looks like they just threw a blanket over the tea cake!” Because it is so highly recognizable and sought after, its legendary status does command a massive collector’s premium. In fact, tea shops love to frame and hang this iconic wrapper on the wall just to draw in serious connoisseurs.

Available via this link is the “Purple-Red Inner Ticket” edition of the Green Big Tree. Believed to have been pressed in early 2000 using 1999 mao cha material, it shares the same prestigious “Yeh Sheng” (Wild) lineage as the original blue-black version, as traced on the Family Tree map. We acquired this cake in 2006 and have carefully aged it in Houston ever since.

Featured below is an early 2015 magazine advertisement from Yang-Ching Hao, highlighting the availability of these two historic Green Big Tree editions.
